PDF 1. I highly recommend this Thesaurus book The th-anniversary edition weighs over one and a half kilos. Courteau: A thesaurus can extract that word that's on the tip of your tongue but can't quite reach your lips.

It is an easy reference as when you are trying to look up new words or find better ones. It serves as a great reference guide and dictionary for me. It was a French copy of "Roget's Thesaurus". As an English major I pretty much use this book for every assignment which helps me reference for my assignments.

Sarah L. I even collect different editions in English, but had never seen the work in a foreign language. With some embarrassment, naturally, but also with some success. The right word can sometimes stop a thought dead rather than usher it forward, and Roget has always had a lot of right words. I love the categories that order the shelves of bookshops for our more convenient perusal, literature, popular fiction, children, young adult, paedophilia, reference, self-help, help yourself, science fiction, paranormal, young adult paranormal, paranormal reference, erotica, paranormal erotica, young adult paranormal erotica, oh my god, the choice you have available to you when you only have one hand with which to read. This book has an active table of contents which is very helpful.

Roget's notebook is buried deep beneath the accumulated revisions of the past years, but it still forms the Thesaurus's core. It is an easy reference as when you are trying to look up new words or find better ones.

While Manny departed to le bar to acquire une bischen semillon et chevrelous goat's cheese a deux, I freed my Roget from its plain brown paper wrapping, and, yes dear lecteur, I was shocked, shocked, to discover its contents, even more so than le frog cop in "Casablanca".

The wordless would-be sesquipedalians invoked and embodied by Dr Peter Mark Roget are hard to bring into focus. This tombstone of a book still teaches the lesson that Roget learned.

As an English major I pretty much use this book for every assignment which helps me reference for my assignments. Hence its relative heftlessness. Contact the Foundation as set forth in Section 3 below.

It is a great reference tool, and includes a neat active table of contents for easier viewing. Because language supplies the ways in which we think, a Thesaurus can supply not only the words but also guidance as to where they should be put. A must have for anyone that is currently going to college or soon will be.

After "Temple" came "The Index", perhaps the most important heading of all, for without it the Thesaurus would have been all but unusable.
